What good support should look like
- Official sources are linked and time-sensitive statements are dated.
- Training hours are presented as estimates, not licence guarantees.
- Referral relationships are disclosed before a booking decision.
- Providers remain responsible for their own pricing, staff, vehicles and service.
- Concerns are recorded and passed to the relevant provider; formal licensing or safety complaints should go to the responsible regulator.
- Safety guidance tells learners when online information is not enough.
How the service can be funded
If you ask for provider options and later book with a referred school, WA Truck Training may receive a referral fee from that provider. The relationship should be disclosed, and you should ask for the complete customer price before accepting.
Referral does not mean that WA Truck Training delivers or controls the training. The provider contracts with you directly and is responsible for the service and assessment arrangements.
Official rules take priority
Heavy vehicle licensing and funded-course information can change. We check official sources, but visitors should confirm current requirements directly with Transport WA, Jobs and Skills WA, TAFE or the approved provider before relying on a date, fee or eligibility statement.
