Understand the licence class
Read the HR, HC or MC guide and compare the vehicle configuration with your job goal. Check the official Transport WA source linked on each page.
Check TAFE and funding
Look at current fee-free and subsidised options. If the schedule, location and entry criteria suit you, public training may be the best value.
Send your training-plan enquiry
Tell us your current licence, how long you have held it, the class or work you want, suburb, timing, gearbox experience and any provider quotes already received.
Choose and contract with the provider
We may suggest questions or, with your agreement, pass the enquiry to an independent provider. You review the provider’s price, terms, vehicle and availability and decide whether to book directly.
The training school remains responsible for the service
Provider quote
The provider confirms price, inclusions, timing, eligibility and terms. Do not rely only on a general website estimate.
Training and readiness
The provider trains you and decides whether your demonstrated performance supports an assessment booking.
Assessment and licence
The authorised assessor and Transport WA processes determine the assessment outcome and licence endorsement.
