Referral disclosure
WA Truck Training may receive a fee when an enquiry is introduced to an independent training provider and results in a booking or another agreed referral outcome.
A referral can create a financial interest
Where a provider has a commercial referral arrangement with WA Truck Training, we may benefit if you choose that provider. This potential conflict is why the relationship is disclosed.
Information remains free
You may use the website, official-source links and checklists without requesting or accepting a provider referral.
You choose the provider
A suggestion is not a requirement. You may contact TAFE, another RTO or any suitable school directly.
The provider contracts with you
Training, assessment, price, vehicle, availability, refunds and service are the provider’s responsibility.
Confirm these points directly
- The complete customer price and everything included
- Any extra training, reassessment or cancellation charges
- The vehicle, gearbox and likely licence condition
- Provider approval and the relevant training unit
- Whether a referral fee or other commercial relationship applies
- That no licence or assessment outcome is guaranteed
Commercial relationships should not be hidden
A commercial relationship may influence which provider is introduced. We aim to separate educational content from provider sales claims, use official sources for regulatory statements and avoid presenting paid relationships as independent endorsements.
Any testimonial or review displayed must reflect a genuine person’s experience and should disclose a material commercial connection where relevant.
Use the online enquiry channel
If you believe a referral relationship was not made clear, send the provider name, booking date and the statement you relied on. Do not send licence numbers or payment-card information.
