Is a White Card needed for every truck delivery?
Not automatically. The need depends on whether the person is carrying out construction work and the site’s access arrangements.
Does a White Card expire?
WorkSafe WA says it remains valid while the holder remains consistently in the construction industry; leaving for two consecutive years or more can make it invalid.
Does it replace site induction?
No. The regulations and WorkSafe guidance make clear that general induction does not replace site or task-specific training and supervision.
Does a White Card let me operate plant?
No. Plant operation may require separate competency, high-risk work licensing and employer authorisation.
