Free practice tests for heavy vehicle and industry courses
Original sample questions to help you build confidence before training or assessment — for HR, HC and MC theory, and for common industry courses like forklift, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility.
These are practice questions, not an official test.
Every question on this page and its linked tests is written by WA Truck Training for general study purposes. None of it is copied from, or a substitute for, the Department of Transport's Heavy Vehicle Theory Test, WorkSafe WA licence assessments, or any RTO's own Learner Guide or theory check. Your training provider's own materials remain the correct and current source to study from — treat these tests as extra practice, not a replacement.

Getting the most out of practice questions
- Use your RTO's own Learner Guide as your primary study source — these tests are extra practice, not a replacement.
- Read the explanation for every question, including ones you got right — understanding why matters more than the score.
- Retake a test after a few days rather than immediately, to check what you actually retained.
- If a question or topic is unclear, ask your trainer or assessor directly — they're the authority on current requirements.
